About continuous-flow resectoscope sheaths
A continuous-flow outer sheath carries both inflow and outflow, so irrigation fluid circulates throughout the procedure rather than requiring the surgeon to stop and drain. The two stopcocks control each channel independently. The rotatable design allows the sheath to be turned relative to the working element without repositioning the instrument.
