Choosing a direction of view
The 7230 series is produced in several viewing angles at the same 4 mm diameter and 18 cm length. The 0° straight-forward view gives a natural, undistorted image and is the simplest to orient with, while angled scopes trade some of that for the ability to see around structures without repositioning. The 30° version is the 7230BVA (red code) and the 45° is the 7230FVA (black code). Contact us for availability on either.
Related scopes
Looking for a different rigid scope? We stock Karl Storz rigid telescopes across the common diameters and viewing angles — 0°, 30°, 45°, 70° — in 2.7 mm through 10 mm, including cystoscopes, arthroscopes, laparoscopes, and resectoscope optics. If you need a 4 mm scope in a different direction of view, or the same 0° in another working length, browse the full rigid scope range or send us the reference number you need.
Color code reference
Karl Storz telescopes carry a colored ring at the eyepiece indicating direction of view: green 0°, red 30°, black 45°, blue 70–90°, white 120°.
